Funny Boy is a 2020 drama film, directed by Deepa Mehta. An adaptation of Shyam Selvadurai's 1994 novel of the same name, the film centres on the coming of age of Arjie Chelvaratnam, a young Tamil boy in Sri Lanka who is coming to terms with his homosexuality against the backdrop of the increased tensions between Tamil and Sinhalese people before the breakout of the Sri Lankan Civil War.
The event includes snacks, lunch, dinner, and is hosted by Oscar Nominated Film Director & Producer, Deepa Mehta.

- Tickets are valid only for HSBC Premier Credit and Debit cardholders.
- Each ticket is valid for single entry by one (1) individual only.
- The screening will be from 10am to 8pm on the 26th of April.
- The ticket is inclusive of snacks, lunch and dinner.
- Tickets are non transferable and non refundable.
- Attendees must present a valid ticket (either printed or digital) for entry.
- Attendees must be present at the venue at least 15 minutes prior to the screening.
- Disruptive behaviour may result in expulsion from the event without refund.
- Photography and videography will not be allowed during the screening.
- Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings.
- The event organisers are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by attendees during the event.
- The event organisers reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone who does not comply with these terms and conditions.
